Anticipatory and pre-operational
Before the commissioning of the fuel-and energy-consuming equipment, conducted a survey of installed equipment to verify conformity with installation and commissioning requirements of state standards and indicators SNiPs on energy efficiency. The survey adopted a decision on commissioning of the fuel-and energy-consuming equipment.
Primary energy audit
At initial evaluation assesses the effectiveness of the use of energy resources (energy resources), verify the effectiveness of rayuoty equipment that uses energy resources, the state of accounting used ERT, reporting on their use, cost of fuel and energy supply, etc.

An extraordinary examination
An extraordinary examination conducted on the initiative of regional (territorial) isponitelnogo authority of the Russian Federation or the Russian Federation subject to the following cases:
- On a number of indirect signs offer a sharp decline in efficiency of energy resources;
- Doubts about the reliability of the survey results, as well as in the case of appeal to the consumer energy resources to the state authorities for the provision of benefits associated with the use of energy resources.
Local and express-survey
Local and express-examination is limited in scope and time for the character. At the same time assesses the effectiveness of one type of fuel and energy resources.
